Using this site, submitting a form or creating an account means these terms apply. Anyone who does not agree with them should stop using the site and avoid sending information through it.

What the Service Covers

DrivePicks is an independent auto insurance consultant. It is not an insurance company and does not underwrite or issue policies.

This site helps drivers understand cover wording, choose the right level of auto insurance, request quotes and get support with claims and policy changes. Cover itself is issued by licensed insurance carriers, and any policy that results is a contract between the driver and that carrier.

Nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice, and nothing here guarantees that a particular policy, price or outcome will be available.

Eligibility

The service is meant for United States residents who are old enough to enter a binding contract and legally able to hold or be listed on an auto insurance policy. Submitting a request confirms that both conditions are met.

Account Responsibilities

Login details should be kept private, and anything done through an account is treated as done by the account holder. Suspected unauthorised access should be reported straight away so the account can be secured.

Accuracy of Information Provided

Quotes depend entirely on the details supplied about the vehicle, the drivers and the way the car is used. Inaccurate or missing information can change a price, alter what a policy covers or lead a carrier to refuse a claim later on.

Details should be kept current, and changes such as a new address, a new vehicle or an added driver should be reported as soon as they happen.

Quotes and Coverage Decisions

Every quote shown is an estimate based on the information available at the time and on carrier rules that can change without notice. A quote is not an offer of cover, and cover only begins once a carrier accepts the risk and confirms it in writing.

Final terms, exclusions, limits and excess amounts are set out in the policy documents issued by the carrier, and those documents take priority over anything shown on this site.

Electronic Communications

Using this site means agreeing to receive notices, documents and updates in electronic form. Where consent has been given at signup, marketing text messages about DrivePicks consulting services, policy review invitations and car insurance tips may also be sent to the number provided, with standard message and data rates possibly applying and message frequency varying.

Marketing messages can be stopped at any time by replying STOP, and replying HELP returns assistance details. Consent is optional and is not a condition of getting a quote or purchasing any product or service.

Acceptable Use

The site may not be used to submit false details, to impersonate another person, to copy or scrape content, to interfere with how the site runs or to attempt access to areas that are not open to the public.

Access may be limited or withdrawn where use of the site breaks these terms or puts other users at risk.

Third Party Links and Providers

Links to carrier sites, payment services and other outside resources are offered for convenience. Those services run under their own terms and privacy practices, and their content is not controlled from here.

Intellectual Property

Text, layout, graphics and code on this site belong to the site owner unless marked otherwise. Content may be viewed and printed for personal use, but it may not be republished, resold or reused commercially without written permission.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The site and its content are provided as they stand, without warranties of any kind, including any promise that the service will be uninterrupted or free of error.

To the fullest extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site, from reliance on a quote or from a decision made by an insurance carrier.

Arbitration Agreement

Any dispute connected to this site or to the service is to be settled by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and each party gives up the right to a jury trial and the right to take part in a class or representative action.

Arbitration is to be handled by a recognised arbitration provider under its consumer rules, and the arbitrator decides the dispute on the merits. Either party may still bring a qualifying matter in small claims court.

Governing Law

These terms are read under the laws of the state where the office listed below is based, without regard to conflict of law rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised as the service or the law changes. The effective date at the top of this page marks the current version, and continued use of the site after a revision means the updated terms apply.

By checking the text message box at signup, you agree to receive automated marketing and promotional text messages from DrivePicks at the phone number provided about its consulting services, policy review invitations and car insurance tips. These texts are for marketing and promotions only. Account, quote and policy updates are never sent by text.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not required to request a quote or purchase any product or service.

Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. You can also email roger.darrow@drivepicks.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line to opt out of marketing and promotional messages.

Our text messaging service supports the following carriers: AT&T, Boost, MetroPCS®, Sprint, T-Mobile®, US Cellular®, Verizon Wireless, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
